Job Description:
As a Financial Analyst , you will play a key role in supporting deal execution and financial analysis across a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients to provide in-depth financial analysis, develop complex financial models, and prepare comprehensive presentations and pitch materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and valuation of companies using various methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions analysis (PTA).
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support transaction analysis, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and integrated financial forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, offering memoranda, and client presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct industry and market research to identify potential opportunities and risks, and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Assist in due diligence activities, including data collection, analysis, and documentation, to support transaction execution and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and regulatory, to ensure successful deal execution and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices in investment banking and financial services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and valuation techniques.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel, with experience in building complex financial models from scratch.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
