Job Description

The Role of a Marketing Manager 

Responsible for managing the company’s marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be optimizing company marketing strategies, managing the marketing department’s budget and staff, as well as preparing forecasts. Oversees the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Reports marketing and sales results to senior executives.

Typical Duties of a Marketing Manager:
 
  • Interviews, hires, and trains marketing staff members
  • Establishes marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts
  • Oversees current offerings and comes up with initiatives for new products or services
  • Researches and analyses market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies
  • Works with marketing staff to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams
  • Approves and oversees the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects
  • Developing marketing and promotional strategy and materials for a company or product, including brand management, advertising, and web and sales collateral
  • Ensuring marketing programs align with public relations and other communication activities
  • Assisting in preparation of long- and short-term marketing plans, pricing policies and budgets
  • Supervising a team of marketing coordinators or assistants
  • Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to senior management.
  • Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events.
  • Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends.
What skills does a marketing manager need?
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar.
  • At least two years’ experience as a marketing manager.
  • Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software such as HubSpot Marketing and Bitrix24.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
  • Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
