Job Description

Bachelor’s Degree, MBA would be an advantage or equivalent experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience, 3 years of which should be in the similar background preferably with exposure in the travel retail industry (Duty-free)
Must have excellent skills in business presentation, project planning, conflict management, negotiation, B2B sales, cross cultural agility, and leadership
Updated on current market trend and must be able to use those data on strategic planning
Proficient in using applications for data analysis and presentations
Demonstrated outstanding sales performance on previous roles
Excellent verbal and leadership skills
Support Sales Manager to develop and monitor business strategies in order to ensure the long-term financial viability of the duty-free Team
Work closely with the duty free Team and ensure the operational support required for the smooth functioning of sales operations
Coordinate the promo activities between Trade Marketing, Operation Supervisor and Sales Team to receive promotion item on time
Collection of data from market and record (leaflet, newspaper and digital) for management review
Coordinate with Logistics department for out bounds shipments to make sure the shipments cleared and received on time
Assist the sales team in the performance and development of current staff and future team within the organization as per the Performance Management Plan (PMP) in order to facilitate high performance, succession planning and close performance gaps
Participate in commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers to secure market share and achieve business objectives
Work closely with the Sales Manager and the different support functions team to enhance efficiency, ensure effective utilization of resources and thereby increase market share
Promote a culture that reflects the organization’s values, encourages good performance and rewards productivity in order to boost employee loyalty and performance
Assist in the development of annual plan, associated budgets and sales strategies, monitor performance against budget, initiating corrective action where necessary to ensure operations are conducted within the agreed financial parameters and targets are achieved
Develop organization changes as per company development & performance
