    Olam International

Manager - HR, Admin & Security

It was a year-long security retainer role with additional responsibilities of human resource management and administration. I spearheaded security operations as the Head of HR, Admin & Security at Olam\'s sugar and co-generation plant, with security and administration as primary responsibilities. Leading the HR function with 500+ employees without prior HR experience or qualification was a great learning experience at Olam. For the first time since the inception of the unit, operations were carried out without any untoward incident or material losses. During my tenure, I successfully fostered sustainable partnerships with government departments, law enforcement agencies, and professional bodies while establishing a robust information network to deter potential threats in the politically active Belgaum region.
