Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper
movement of shipments
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve
profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Preparing Request Orders, Receiving the requested materials, issuing
the received materials to the needed sections. Inventory management,
bench stock, inventory control log and Material Consumption Log
maintenance.
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to military
requirements
• Keep the updated Materials Safety Data Sheet on location where the
chemical materials stored
• Provides inventory detail to other departments as needed.
• Compiles records of amount, type, and value of material or stock on
hand.
• Unloads, unpacks, inspects, counts, and stores incoming supplies and
equipment.
• Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading,
purchase order and shipping documents.
• Performs analysis of current inventory and / or usage, shipping,
sorting as needed by other departments.
• Adhere to all safety standards and operating procedures
• Perform all Daily, Weekly and Monthly Report’s to the Company and
US Military.
• Answers phone calls and transfers them as necessary
• Drafts, formats, and prints relevant documents
